{Permutations} (2017)
3-hour durational performance installation for a gallery space.
{Permutations} is an inquiry into algorithmic frameworks, theatre, and repetition and the possibilities that exist through limitation. It consists of continuous iterations of the same scene. Based on the mathematical concept of a permutation; a formula for measuring the amount of different arrangements or potential different outcomes with a given set of variables, {Permutations} is thus created from these constraints. Eleven theatrical elements (including props, music, and text) are available, but only three may be used simultaneously. The same three elements together may only be used once. 80 of the 330 possible permutations were performed.
